John is a District Councillor for All Saints and Woodloes.

John has lived on the Emscote Road for 12 years and is a passionate campaigner on many local issues affecting his neighbours, even turning his hand to local litter picking. He has previously been a town councillor and a governor of St Mary Immaculate Catholic Primary School in Warwick. Professionally, John has been a teacher for 29 years and now lectures at Warwickshire College in mechanical engineering and supervises engineering apprentices. He is an active trade unionist, who currently sits on the national committee of the University and College Union.
