Jill is a Leamington Town Councillor for the Clarendon ward.

Born in Australia, Jill has lived in the UK for over forty years. A socialist, feminist, poet, educationist and academic, she graduated with a PhD from the  University of Warwick in 1992 as a mature student. She is committed to equal opportunities for all, especially in early years education.

Jill has raised a blended family of five, and now has ten grandchildren.

She campaigns for tree preservation, and walks miles with her dogs through our parks and green spaces. She is indefatigable against litter and fly-tipping. As a Town Councillor, she focusses on planning regulations, arguing against overdevelopment and inappropriate HMOs (houses in multiple occupation).
