Chris King
Chris King

Chris is a District Councillor for the Clarendon ward.

Chris became a councillor in May 2022, just before a hot summer made memorable by Leamington’s contribution to the Commonwealth Games and by the introduction of the 123+ waste system. He’s keenly aware that many of us are still struggling with the new rubbish regime and its impact on our streetscape. Chris has been working hard alongside the Clarendon Labour team on this and other issues, such as antisocial behaviour, in an effort to make our Town Centre as clean and pleasant a place to be as possible. Managing, controlling and limiting the growth and concentration of Houses of Multiple Occupation (HMOs) is also a major concern. His priority is aligning the action of Council with the wishes of our community.
