Ruby is a Leamington Town Councillor for the Clarendon ward.

With a legal background and a passion for human rights, Ruby loves to advocate for children and young people, whether through campaigning for ‘Save the Children’ and ‘Action for Child Trauma International’, or teaching children with special needs in Coventry. She is proud to be carrying on her family’s commitment to democracy and equality, values passed on to Ruby from grandparents who fought apartheid and were MPs in Mandela’s government. Ruby is keen to find solutions that will endure, empower and make our community stronger. She will prioritise the arts and environmental projects and will tackle air quality, population density, street cleanliness and noise.
