**STATEMENT OF SOLIDARITY WITH BLACK LIVES MATTER MOVEMENT**
Read out today at the protest on behalf of Mini Mangat, District Councillor and BAME Officer of Warwick and Leamington Labour Party.
“I stand in solidarity with my black brothers and sisters here in Leamington & Warwick District and across the world. I see you, I hear you, I grieve with you, I support you, and I will fight with you, enough is enough.
I pay my respects to George Floyd and his family and I stand with you to demand justice for his brutal murder – and call for justice for the many black lives stolen by white supremacy, institutional racism and police brutality.
We must push for deconstruction of white supremacy and demand systemic change! And we must VOTE, we must always VOTE and have our voice heard.
Anti-racism work ends only when black people are staying alive and they have their liberation.
