News From Warwickshire Labour: Labour Leader, Councillor Helen Adkins, Calls For Vaccine Roll-Out Plans

Councillor Helen Adkins, Leader of Warwickshire Labour, has written to the Conservative controlled County Council to ensure Warwickshire is ready to roll-out any potential vaccine for COVID-19.

There are concerns that a series of failures by the Conservative Government over the course of the pandemic will continue when it comes to the nationwide roll-out of potential COVD-19 vaccines.

To ensure that Warwickshire is ready, Cllr Adkins, has written to the Leader of the Council to ask who is responsible for overseeing vaccinations in the County, and to ensure the necessary infrastructure is in place.

Cllr Adkins, said:

“Whilst there is still further work to be done on a potential vaccine, and we need to allow the process to continue, it is essential we step up planning for mass vaccine roll-out. We must be ready to vaccinate the population of Warwickshire, starting with our most vulnerable and our heroic frontline workers, as soon as a safe vaccine is ready.”
